Federal student aid comes from the U.S. Department of Education. It’s money that helps a student pay for college expenses. Federal student aid covers such expenses as tuition and fees, books and supplies and transportation. Every student who meets certain eligibility requirements can get some type of federal student aid, regardless of family income.
Enid Beauty College is approved to participate in the following types of federal student aid programs:
Federal Pell Grant - provides financial assistance to students that meet financial needs set by the federal government. Need is based on a federal formula. Grants do not have to be repaid.
Subsidized Federal Direct Loan - carries a fixed interest rate. The federal government pays the interest on the loan while you are at school and during your six month grace period after leaving school. Eligibility is based on need. Loans must be paid back.
Unsubsidized Federal Direct Loan - carries a fixed interest rate. You are responsible for the interest that builds on this loan while you are in school and during your grace period. Loans must be paid back.
